Cancellation Policy

By booking an appointment with Nurture Bodywork, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to these terms and consent to receive massage therapy and bodywork services. Nature of Treatment & Medical Disclaimer Massage therapy and bodywork are intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, relief of muscular tension, and improved circulation and flexibility. Massage is not medical care and is not a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed healthcare professional. Nurture Bodywork does not diagnose, prescribe, or treat medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries. Client Health & Responsibilities Before the start of each service, you agree to disclose all known medical conditions, injuries, physical limitations, allergies, medications, and other relevant health information. You understand that certain conditions may contraindicate massage and that providing complete, accurate information is your responsibility. You agree to report any health changes before future sessions. You are always in control of your treatment and must immediately communicate any pain, discomfort, or distress so treatment can be adjusted or stopped. Assumption of Risk & Release You knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks associated with massage and bodywork, including temporary soreness, tenderness, minor bruising, discomfort, or other reactions. To the extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Nurture Bodywork, its owners, independent contractors, and employees from claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising from or related to your participation, except where prohibited by law. Professional Boundaries Massage therapy is strictly non-sexual. Sexual remarks, advances, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session, with the full fee still due. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Arrival At least 24 hours’ notice is requested for cancellations or rescheduling. Less than 24 hours’ notice is subject to a 50% fee. No-shows are charged the full service price. A card on file is required and may be charged applicable fees. Late arrivals may shorten the session; the full price remains due. Good-faith cancellations due to fever, contagious illness, or flu-like symptoms are exempt from late fees. Pregnancy-related cancellations will be accommodated without penalty when possible. Mobile appointments may be rescheduled without charge when severe weather or safety concerns make travel unsafe.
